Heavy-Oil Technology May Be a Perfect Fit for Geothermal PowerTuesday, August 15, 2017 - 15:55Using heavy oil technologies to help advance the enhanced geothermal systems
C-FER Technologies is pleased to be featured in the Journal of Petroleum Technology on how heavy-oil technologies can be applied to the Geothermal Industry.
Article highlights include how C-FER is helping to take technologies such as steam-assisted gravity drainage (SAGD) and applying them to the geothermal industry. The article covers how the application of heavy oil technologies to the geothermal industry can benefit both heavy oil operators and the geothermal industry, and help to reduce the risk of drilling enhanced geothermal wells.
C-FER is pleased to have this article as part of the September issue of the SMU Geothermal Lab newsletter.
